1 Jan 2013

December 31, 2012 started off as a dull dark day with that biting cold in the air.
The day ended with a magnificent sunset.

Happy New Year and all the best in 2013!!

At 2260 meters as of 06:00 hrs the temperature was - 6, winds were 15-25 KPH from the NNE. At 1650 meters the temperature was -6, no new snow recorded there. In the valley it is -10.

For the forecast we should see mostly sunny skies as the high pressure reestablished itself last night. Enjoy the sun and warm temperatures as the clouds should move back into our area by Thursday. We may receive a few flurries for Thursday but the models do not have much precipitation occurring until Sunday.
