April 11, 2013 ended with the ridge rebuilding, there were still many Cumulus clouds  floating by.

 Only 10 more days before Whistler is closing!!


At 2240 meters the temperature was -9, winds were 15-30 KPH from the ESE. At 1650 meters the temperature was -4.5, no new snow reported overnight. In the valley it was +1. Observations taken at 06:00 this Am.

For the forecast, unsettled conditions for this morning before a cold front enters our area later this morning. Following the cold front later tonight a moist on shore flow with an upper level trough will dominate the area for the weekend. Early next week a dry north west flow will bring unsettled conditions. Freezing level should drop to around 800 meters today and hover there until tomorrow. Next week the freezing levels will fluctuate between 1000-1300 meters. Guesstimates: 2-4 cm by 15:00 hrs today, Saturday 10-12 cm by 15:00 hrs, Sunday Flurries, Monday flurries
