Blue bird again yesterday morning, some cirrus cloud appeared later but it was another amazing day.




At 2240 meters the temperature was 0, winds were 10-20 KPH from the E. At 1650 meters the temperature was +2, no new snow reported there. In the valley it was +2. Observations taken at 06:00 Hrs this AM.

For the forecast the weather will change today, as a warm moist marine layer has moved into our area. Mostly cloudy with a chance of some light precipitation. An upper ridge is forecasted to build for Wednesday giving us unsettled weather into Thursday evening. A series of fronts will approach the coast with a southwest flow aloft and we should see some snow for the weekend. Freezing levels will go as high as 2200 meters this morning, possible to go up to 2500 meters by Thursday then slowly dropping back to 1000 meters by Saturday evening. Flurries possible at the highest elevations up to Thursday evening. Guesstimates: 8-10 cm for Friday morning, 4-6 cm during the day, 8-10 cm for Saturday morning, 2-6 cm during the day.
