First light yesterday morning, the clouds were on there way.

In the satellite image we are just on the edge of the cloud.



At 2240 meters the temperature was -4, winds were 50-70 KPH from the S. At 1550 meters the temperature was +.5, ? cm of new snow recorded there overnight. In the valley it was +7. Observations taken at 06:00 Hrs this AM.

For the forecast we can expect the cold front to push through by this evening, timing is slower than forecasted yesterday.  Cloudy through Sunday with another cold front arriving later Sunday afternoon. An upper level trough pushes through on Monday with unsettled conditions and some possible flurries. Later on Tuesday a warm upper level ridge will bring warm and sunny conditions for Wednesday and Thursday. Freezing Levels: Today 1400-1600 Meters, Sunday 1100-1200 meters, Monday 600-1100 Meters Snow Guesstimates: Today 5-8, Sunday 1-2, Early Monday Morning 2-4

As of 08:00 Hrs there was 1 cm of snow recorded at the Catskinner weather plot (1550 meters) the snow line is at 1400 meters, winds in the alpine are now 70-80 KPH from the South with a gust of 95.
