Fitzsimmons Creek early yesterday morning.

There were a few clouds around yesterday morning.

At times the visibility was challenging in the afternoon!


At 2240 meters the temperature was -3, winds were 15-30 KPH from the NNE. At 1650 meters the temperature was -.5, 4 cm of new snow fell there over night. In the valley it was +3. Observations take at 06:00 Hrs this AM. 5 cm was recorded at 1560 meters.

For the forecast, the cold front will move through our area this morning, in its wake we will see light precipitation with the chance of a sunny break this morning. Mostly cloudy today into Saturday with a north west flow aloft associated with a moist low level onshore flow. Freezing levels could reach 1800 meters today, dropping to 900 meters Saturday evening with light snow expected. Sunday looks unsettled with clouds and sunny breaks, freezing levels at this time will slowly rise to 2000 meters on Monday and as high as 2600 meters on Wednesday. The outlook for next week is mostly sunny weather and warm temperatures. Guesstimates 1mil of precip this afternoon, trace  of snow Saturday morning, 2-4 cm by Sunday morning, Sun for the beginning of the week.
