Still have not seen much activity with the isothermal snowpack. The alpine was closed for most of the day yesterday.

Awesome looking day.


At 2240 meters the temperature was +9.5, winds were calm. At 1550 meters the temperature was + 9, no new snow to report and the base has diminished to 170 cm. In the valley it was +5. Observations taken at 07:00 Hrs this Am. Max temp in the valley yesterday was 28.6, at 2240 meters it was +16, and at 1550 meters +19.

For the forecast, no change!! Slightly cooler temperatures can be expected but the high pressure is here until Friday. A frontal system approaches the coast on Friday. Clouds are possible for Wednesday Afternoon.
