Looking like a decent day, still some cloud around today with the slight chance of a rain shower this afternoon.

At 2240 meters the temperature was +8, winds were 25-35 KPH from the E. At 1550 meters the temperature was +13. In the valley it was +15. Observations taken this AM at 08:00 hrs.
For the forecast a major ridge is building to the South bringing us very warm temperatures and nice sunny summer weather. Record high temperatures could be reached on Monday. A strong upper ridge centred over Utah extends North into the Canadian Rockies. The warm air mass will bring very warm temperatures until Wednesday, followed by slightly cooler air for Thursday and Friday. Enjoy the nice weather.
