Hauling the Harmony Haul Rope to the Bottom of the lift.

At 1835 meters the temperature was +4.5, winds were 5-15 KPH from the E. At 1550 meters the temperature was +6.5. In the valley the temperature was +9. We have received 18.5 mm of rain in the valley since Sunday. Observations taken this am at 09:00 hrs September 19, 2013. Harvest moon occurs this evening. Full moon this time of year was called the harvest moon as farmers would use the light to harvest crops well into the evening.

For the forecast a cold low will be in our zone Friday night into the weekend. Freezing levels could drop as early as Friday night bringing snow to the upper elevations in the alpine. Temperatures in the alpine will progressively drop  into Monday with Freezing levels hovering around 1800 meters. Today and Friday look to be mostly cloudy as the high pressure aloft succumbs to the advancing low. Wet and cool weather is on its way for the weekend and up until the middle of next week. Rocky Mountain Trench has received snow in the upper elevations, we are next.
