Unfortunately it is now +3 at 1860 meters, luckily it is just light rain. October 5, 2013.

More precip on the way for Sunday into Monday with Freezing Levels dropping back to 1500 meters.


At 2180 meters the temperature was +1.5. At 1835 meters the temperature was +3.5, winds were 10-35 KPH from the S. At 1650 meters the temperature was +3.5. In the valley it was +7. Observations taken at 07:00 hrs this am October 5, 2013. The alpine temperature went into + values as of 08:45 pm October 4, 2013 at 2180 meters.


For the forecast the high is now over Washington State and the front will bring light rain to the Whistler area today. Drier conditions later this morning with unsettled conditions into Sunday prior to an upper level trough moving through Sunday evening into Monday, 15-20 mm of rain is expected and freezing levels should gradually drop back to 1500 meters on Monday evening. Unsettled weather Tuesday as a weak ridge builds into Wednesday.


Starting to dry out as of 10:30 am.
