October 9, 2013

Still snow considering how warm it was! Temperature in the Alpine this morning is -5C.

Looking like a fairly nice day today.

Still a fair amount of instability around our zone.
A dusting at 1835 meters from October 8th.

At 2180 meters the temperature was -5. At 1835 meters the temperature was -3, winds were 5-15 KPH from the WSW. At 1650 meters the temperature was -1. In the valley it was 0. Observations taken this am October 9, 2013 at 05:30 hrs.

For the forecast we will see high clouds this morning with a chance of some sunny breaks. There is a chance of a shower later today. A north west flow will bring us a series of weak fronts and short lived highs for the next few days. Expect a mix of sun and cloud with occasional showers.
