The forecast for today will bring more unsettled weather, with the weak upper level ridge deflecting the precipitation that is just North East of our zone. Snowing in the Caribou area. There is cloud around so we may get the occasional snow flurry. Thursday will see a Pacific cold front and an upper level trough move through with light precipitation. Drier North West flow for Friday. Another cold front is expected for Saturday with snow in the forecast and freezing levels around 1200 meters, this pattern moves into Sunday with cloudy conditions and some light snow. Starting early next week the flow should shift to the West, confidence in the models is low so more on next week, later in the week.
Guesstimates: Today trace amounts; Thursday 3-6 cm; Friday trace amounts; Saturday 5-8 cm by Sunday morning; Sunday 3-5 cm by Monday morning.
