Weather observations for February 21, 2014; taken at 06:00 Hrs.

For the forecast, Northwesterly flow aloft will bring cool temperatures and unsettled weather for today.
A weak upper short wave will move through on Saturday with cloudy skies and light snowfall. Sunday will also be unsettled with the chance of some flurries. An off shore upper ridge should move into the forecast zone on Monday with mostly sunny skies. This pattern will continue into Wednesday. More on the long term forecast tomorrow as the models are in disagreement on what is happening after the weekend. Guesstimates: 3-5 cm by Sunday morning.
