For the forecast, the strong upper high will dominate today over Southern BC. A dry warm Easterly flow will bring inverted temperatures to the alpine again today with the freezing level hovering around 2000 meters in the afternoon, dropping to the valley by Sunday morning.  Sunday will also be sunny with the FL rising to about 800 meters in the afternoon. We should see a change by Sunday evening as the low to the South pushes into our zone for Monday with unsettled weather and some light snow fall. The FL on Monday will hover from the valley floor to around 700 meters. By Tuesday a weak warm front will move onshore into Wednesday with some light precipitation and a FL hovering in the 1100 meter range. Still some uncertainty beyond Monday so stay tuned!!

High pressure sitting over Southern BC.

Low should edge into the area by late Sunday night into early Monday morning.

There is a chance some moisture will move into our area for early Monday morning. 0-5 cm

Some precipitation forecasted for Tuesday, we may see 3-5 cm by Wednesday morning.
