   An unsettled day Sunday May 15, 2016. Lots of cloud with some nice sunny breaks.

    Dry day with temperatures reaching +10 in the alpine.

    There was some convective cloud development during the day.

    The peaks were collecting the clouds.

    Overlord and Fissile.

    Black Tusk becoming engulfed in cloud.

    South Side of Blackcomb Sunday evening.

    By 21:00 Hours dark clouds moved into the zone.

2240 meters    +2, Winds were  10-20 KPH W     --Horstman Hut

1550 meters    +5, 0 cm of new snow, 0 cm in 24 hrs, 137 cm Base, RH 91%  --Catskinner
  660 meters  +11, Valley Temp, Max Temp Yesterday was +19.6. trace of Precip recorded yest



    As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have overcast skies and variable visibility.



For the forecast, overcast skies this morning with a valley cloud layer and an upper cloud layer in a Northerly flow aloft.  A weak upper ridge will bring unsettled conditions for later today with dry conditions into Tuesday. The FL will remain high for today and Tuesday hovering in the 3000 meter range.  Tuesday will be unsettled with a mix of sun and cloud. A weak cold front associated with a low to the North will move into the area for Wednesday / Thursday, with periods of light rain. An upper level low will move in for Friday with some unsettled conditions, but with isolated showers. The low will continue to spin over the area for the weekend with a cool and unstable air mass.


    Cloudy for most of the day, should stay dry. Still a possibility for some showers this am.

    Should see some breaks by this afternoon, depends on the flow to push the cloud out.


    Looking nicer for Tuesday with unsettled conditions.


    Weak cold front for Wednesday.
                                                             
    An upper level low moves over the area on Thursday and remaining stationary into the weekend.
