A weakening upper ridge will bring mostly cloudy conditions for today in a Southwesterly flow aloft. The FL could get as high as 1200 meters and there is a chance of some isolated snow flurries, possible improvement to unsettled by this afternoon. Saturday will be unsettled as well but with more sun than cloud and the FL rising as high as 1800 meters, with the day time heating. A fast moving weak cold front is still forecasted to arrive Sunday with overcast conditions and some light snowfall, the FL will hover in the 1100 meter range. Rex Block begins to form on Monday with a strong Westerly flow and much colder temperatures into Wednesday.
Guesstimates: 4-8 cm by Monday morning.

High pressure with some injected cloud for Friday.

Low to the North will spill cloud into the area today.

   Flow for today into Saturday.

    Looking dry for Saturday.

A weakening cold front for Sunday.

Had a great little day showing some friends the musical bumps. Ended up digging a little pit at 1930m on Oboes NWW face. Recorded 2 CTE5 SC releases down 65cm to a huge faceted layer. These low/moderate avalanche ratings can be deceiving. Was a little surprised with how easy this released. Be careful everyone.

    Whiskey Jacks are always hungry.

Great racing conditions on Ptarmigan Thursday.

    Pig Alley Weather plot.

Nice sky later in the day.

    Aussie Day.
