 FORECAST:

An upper level ridge will eventually bring mostly sunny skies to the area today in a West to Southweserly flow aloft. The freezing level may get as high a 1800 meters with day time heating. The ridge will flatten out Saturday night allowing a weak cold front to push through Sunday with light snow and the FL hovering in the 1000 m range. Monday/Tuesday at this time is looking unsettled, with colder temperatures in a Northerly flow. A rex block will form off the coast with a confluent flow, models are inconsistent on exactly what will happen, will depend on the jet stream. Some models are leaning towards a moist SW flow from the low to the South of the rex block later in the week. Best case scenario is that we get snow Tuesday night into Friday. We may get dry unsettled weather :( Guesstimates: 5-10 cm by Monday morning.

    High pressure dominates for Saturday.

Should be a nice day Saturday.

   Flow for today.

    Cold front for Sunday.
