OBSERVATIONS & INFORMATION:

February 5 at 8:49pm

Another ridiculously deep day of skiing in the West Bersten Zone, in the Pizza Bowl, way south of Duff-laska, on the edge of Cascadia. You can probably figure out where this is, if you recognize that slice of pizza. HST 88cm, at 1300m. HS 280cm. Light flurries, -7C, with increasing SE winds in late afternoon. Stuck to simple terrain again today, with no signs of instability. Nobody else around, it would nice if somebody else could set the knee to thigh deep skintrack next time. =)

    Great snow on Sunday.

Rimed trees near the top of Garbo.

    Lower Insanity was skiing well.

Not a great place to be stuck on.

Lower mountain was relatively quiet after the initial up load.
