FORECAST:
A weak upper trough will bring unsettled weather this morning and flurries this pm in a Westerly flow aloft. The FL will slowly rise to about 1000 meters by tonight. A strong surface low will reach land this evening with moderate precipitation and strong winds. There is a chance all the moisture could go South or we may be in for a surprise tomorrow morning. The low will weaken Friday as it moves east. Unfortunately a warmer air mass is associated with the next series of frontal bands expected to move through our zone into next week. The FL on Friday morning will rise to 1500 meters then slowly descend to 800 meters by the evening. A weak cold front will move through on Saturday with a rising FL and light snow above 1000 meters. More warm frontal bands for Sunday into Wednesday. Guesstimates: 10-15 cm by Friday morning, 5-10 by Saturday morning, 5-10 by Sunday morning.
