A dry cold arctic ridge to the Northeast & a weak upper trough on the coast will bring unsettled weather to the area today in a Northwesterly flow aloft. As of this morning it appears the low is winning with overcast skies and the chance of some flurries. The arctic ridge may push a bit more giving us some sunny breaks later this morning/afternoon. Another weak trough will push through Wednesday with mostly cloudy skies and the chance of some flurries. A stronger frontal band will push through on Thursday with light snowfall and the freezing level rising to 1200 meters. It will slowly move through the area on Friday with light snowfall dissipating Friday night as an upper ridge begins to build for the weekend.
Guesstimates: trace-1 cm by Wednesday morning, 3-5 cm by Thursday morning, 10-15 cm by Friday morning, 5-10 cm by Saturday morning.

GOES IR image this am, some precip out there but it gets deflected South.

Low sending a weak trough our way.

    Unsettled for today.

    Sandwiched between the fronts.

Low gets slightly stonger for Wednesday.
