   YESTERDAY:

    Snowing and blowing Sunday morning.

    Snow was deep and dense.

    Lightened up for a while in the afternoon.

    Some blue around noon.

   Frontal bands pushed through in the afternoon.

    Nice light yesterday.

    Just before dusk.

    Sunday afternoon.

    As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have overcast skies, limited visibility and it is snowing lightly.


FORECAST:

An upper trough will bring periods of light snow and unsettled conditions in a Westerly flow aloft. The freezing level will hover around 800 meters, dropping to surface tonight.. A warm front quickly followed by a cold front will bring more snow Tuesday with the FL rising to around 1000 meters then dropping back down to 800 meters by Tuesday night. A more active front pushes through on Wednesday, followed by frontal bands on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. Winter is here!!
Guesstimates: 10-15 cm by Tuesday morning, 15-20 cm by Wednesday morning, 20-30 cm by Thursday morning, 10-30 cm by Friday morning.

    INFORMATION & OBSERVATIONS:

    Pay attention when skiing the trees.

    Base at Catskinner (1550 meters) was 208 cm, with 19 cm new by 14:30 Hrs.

    Wind effect at tree line.

    Just below tree line.

    Some blue sky in the afternoon.

    Pay attention to the signage, going through a closure will get your riding privileges taken away.
