As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have overcast skies, variable visibility and it is snowing lightly.
FORECAST:
A warm front will pass through this am in a Southwesterly flow aloft. The freeziing level will rise and hover in the 1000 meter range by this afternoon then drop back down to around 800 meters by tonight. Will see some strong winds with this sysem as well. A series of Pacific fonts will continue all week into the weekend. There is a good chance an atmospheric river event may ocur over the weekend but more on that as we get closer to that time line. Wednesday will be relatively quiet with some light flurries with an impulse Wednesday night. A significant front is forecasted for Thursday evening with heavy snowfall.
Guesstimates: 15-20 cm by Wednesday morning, 20-25 cm by Thursday morning, 15-30 cm by Friday morning, 5-10 cm by Saturday morning.

2.5m crown line from avalanche bombing today on chainsaw ridge, size 3, ran all the way across the flats and into Jersey.
4 cm recorded yesterday at 1650 meters, Base at 278 cm.
