         Report of 2 snowboarders involved in a cornice collapse and avalanche yesterday.

A cornice collapse in the Upper Lillooet took two snowboarders for a ride on Sunday.
Not much information yet but at least one has sustained some injuries and was buried in the debris..


    There were many avalanches from the last cycle to observe on Sunday.

    Same area different perspective.

    Large natural cornice release, but no slab on this slope that pulled out.

    Even a S1 dry loose can make some noise!!

    As of 06:30 hrs this am we have clear skies and unlimited visibility.


FORECAST:

An upper ridge will dominate the weather pattern until Thursday. For today we can expect mostly sunny weather with some afternoon cloud development in a Northerly flow aloft. The FL will reach 3000 meters today, with warmer temperatures expected through the week. Summer like weather by Thursday. No precipitation in the forecast until Friday. Lather up!!
