    New activity on the Duffey.

    Duffey North end yesterday.
    Locally around Blackcomb, Sz 1-2.5 Na widespread cycle--Wet loose and wet slabs yesterday.


    YESTERDAY:

    Overcast in the valley yesterday morning.

   Avalanche husicks on the Duffey.

    Unsettled weather over the Duffey yesterday morning.

    Yesterday afternoon at around 17:30 Hrs. Temperature of +1 Deg C at 1835 meters.

    Some breaks in the valley later in the day. High yesterday of +12.6 in the valley.

    As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have broken cloud and unlimited visibility above 1700 meters.

FORECAST:

A broad trough yesterday has spread stratus cloud into the valley with an upper ridge building today in a Northerly Flow aloft. The cloud layer is likely to lift some and dissipate later this morning into this afternoon. Te FL is likely to rise to 3000 meters by the end of the day. Ridge strengthens tomorrow for a sunny day. Thursday is looking unsettled, and with the models in loose agreement of either an upper trough or weak upper low, the weather will be unsettled into the weekend. The FL is expected to remain above the local peaks for the week.
Guesstimates: 0 mm by Wednesday morning, 0 mm by Thursday morning, 1-2 mm by Friday morning, 2-4 mm by Saturday morning.

    Saw two goats just off the highway between Summerland & Penticton.
