FORECAST:

A weak upper trof will bring unsettled weather to the area today in a Northwesterly Flow aloft. We should see an increase in cloud with the slight chance of some isolated intermittent showers this afternoon as the low pressure to the North has some push back to the dirty ridge. The Fl will reach 2500+ meters today.  The ridge will strengthen again on Saturday for warm sunny conditions. Get out the sun screen, warm temperatures and a FL surpassing 4500 meters will be with us mid week and the trend is looking good into Friday. A blocking pattern could persist into next weekend, with some cloud development during the days. More on that later next week.
Guesstimates: trace-2 mm by Saturday but unlikely.

GOES IR image from this am.

Weak upper trough will bring cloud to the area this morning.

Low to the North will send some cloud our way today.

High strengthens Saturday and blocks the lows until at least Thursday of next week.

Summer like weather for early next week.

Looks like an awesome day for Gaper Day.

High maintains its strength next week.

Will have to wait and see how the low reacts from Thursday into Friday.
