High pressure will begin to migrate East today in a Northwesterly flow aloft shifting today to a Southwesterly flow aloft. The weakening cold front will bring some cloud to the area tonight and some light snow showers to the alpine, fairly dry so we may see some flurries tonight but more likely Saturday afternoon. The FL could go as high as 1500 meters but may hover in the 1300 meter range.  A stronger front will arrive for Sunday with the FL possibly reaching 1800 meters and falling to 1000 fairly quickly. Hoping for the FL to hover around 1500 meters. A series of Pacific fronts will push through next week with breaks in between their passage. Guesstimates: 2-4 cm by Sunday morning, 15-25 cm by Monday morning, trace to 2 by Tuesday morning, 10-20 cm by Wednesday morning.
