From South Coast Touring:

Quiet day on Oboe Summit. Wind slabs on dense snow off flute and a lot of pinwheeling at about 1750m just above oboe creek. Kept it really mellow off the oboe summit while avoiding convex slopes and the heap of cornices. Tight skin track for us splitboarders but appreciation for those who laid it down. I just had to break it a bit more.

Mitch Sulkers
An avy cycle began around noon today in the Spearhead and Fitzsimmons Ranges. Moist snow failing as slab avalanches and running nearly full path.
Wintery snow up high and dropping temps in late afternoon.
