As of 07:00 hrs we have high cloud, unlimited visibility and it is snowing very lightly.
FORECAST:
A warm front is moving onshore in a Southwest Flow aloft. The FL will slowly rise to around 1600 meters by Wednesday morning. For this morning we can expect light snow to begin with overcast skies, increasing to moderate snowfall later in the day. By tomorrow morning the FL rises and the snow will slowly transition to rain in the valley Wet, warm, and windy for Wednesday afternoon into Thursday. A weak upper ridge will begin to push into our zone for Friday with a mix of sun and cloud expected into Saturday. Ridge strengthens Sunday with mostly sunny skies. This high is coming out of the South and is associated with warm temperatures for our area into the weekend.
Much uncertainty in the models for early next week so more on that as we get closer.
Guesstimates: 15-20 cm by Wednesday morning (possibly 20-30), 30-40 cm by Thursday morning above 1500 meters, 10-15 cm by Friday morning.
