    YESTERDAY:

    Overcast and light flurries in the early am.


    A few breaks in the am.

    West facing alpine slopes were fairly smooth with some nice dry powder on top.

    Sun did come out briefly in the morning.

    Thin cloud with flurries. From 06:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs--3 cm at 1565 meters, 5 cm at 1650 meters.

    Snowing 2 cm per hour at the end of the day.

    Tuesday 15:00 Hrs.

    As of 07:00 hrs we have clear skies and unlimited visibility.



FORECAST:

The upper trough has moved south allowing a weak ridge of high pressure in a Northwesterly flow aloft. Sunny skies for today with seasonable temperatures. A large upper trough will push into our zone on Thursday with unsettled weather Thursday morning, increasing cloudiness and light precipitation by Thursday night. The trough will bring overcast skies and light snow fall into Saturday. Another weak ridge builds for Sunday. Guesstimates:5-10 cm by Friday morning.

    Making snow on Horstman Glacier.

    Top of GMC Race centre.

    Smooth turns on the GMC race course.

    Nice dry snow, we had 4 cm at 1565 meters overnight and 7 cm at 1650 meters.

    Smooth on Cougar chutes.
