FORECAST:
A strong pacific frontal system will push into the area with light to moderate precipitation and moderate winds in a Westerly flow aloft. The FL will rise to 2200 + meters, dropping back down to 1400 meters by Friday night. The front will ease off Friday morning with a ridge building for the afternoon into the weekend with seasonably mild temperatures. Wet, warm, and windy until sunny weather for the weekend. More wet weather on the way for early next week.
Guesstimates: 15-25 mm by Friday morning, 10-15 mm by Saturday morning. Heavy wet snow in the alpine.
