    YESTERDAY:

    Raining in the valley Wednesday morning. +4 Deg C.

    At the top of GE it was -3 Deg C.

    At 10:30 Hrs it was snowing lightly and +1 Deg C.

    It was snowing hard at times.

    Wednesday afternoon.

    Warmed up later in the afternoon. Max Temp yesterday at 1860 meters was +2.6 Deg C at 15:30.

    High of +6.4 Deg C in the valley yesterday afternoon.

    Green Lake at around 18:00 Hrs.

    There were a few breaks in the precipitation later in the day.

Colder on Blackcomb yesterday compared to Whistler.
At Catskinner weather plot (1570 M) Max Temp yesterday was +1 Deg C at 12:00 Hrs.
At Pig Alley weather plot (1650 M) Max Temp yesterday was +4 Deg C at 12:15 Hrs.

    As of 07:00 hrs we have broken cloud and unlimited visibility.



FORECAST:

A weak upper ridge will bring unsettled weather for today in a Westerly flow aloft. A mix of mostly cloud with some sunny breaks and the FL rising to 2000 meters. Low to our North will send several frontal bands our way in a mostly Southwesterly flow aloft beginning early Friday morning and into the weekend. Light to moderate precipitation is expected with high winds at times as well. Saturday night could see heavy precipitation amounts. The FL on Friday will max out at around 1700 meters, on Saturday it will peak at around 1400 meters and on Sunday drop down to 1000 meters with the passage of the front. Unsettled weather is expected by Monday of next week, but the models are inconsistent so more on that as we get closer..  Guesstimates: 15-20 cm by Saturday morning in the alpine, 15-25 cm by Sunday morning, 5-10 cm by Monday morning.

    At 1570 meters, Catskinner weather plot we received 9 cm of new snow from 06:15-14:15 Hrs.

    At Pig Alley, 1650 Meters we received 3 cm from 06:00 hrs to 14:00 Hrs April 3, 2019.

    Moderate for yesterday.

    April showers bring April Flowers.
