    A bit nicer on the Dark Side. Same time frame.

FORECAST:

The arctic ridge will continue to bring cold clear weather in an Easterly-Northeasterly flow aloft. This pattern will continue into the weekend with a shift expected next week! The Freezing level will remain below valley bottom for the next 2-3 days. Temperatures should moderate by Saturday. Still some uncertainty about what will transpire next week. More on that as we get closer. Dress warm and enjoy the sunshine!! Guesstimates: No precipitation until next Monday night/Tuesday.

    INFORMATION & OBSERVATIONS:

    Snow making Monday morning on Whistler.

    Pumping it out on Blackcomb as well!!

    Tuesday, the high in the valley was + 0.5 Deg C, the low was -3.1 Deg C.

    The low that passed us by on Tuesday, helping Oregon for the weekend.

    Jet stream on Tuesday.

    Spindrift on Wednesday. Max gust Wednesday afternoon at 2240 meters was North 148 KPH.
