    Awesome to see a nice dump of snow.

    Periods of light snow during the day. 5 cm recorded at 1650 meters by 14:00 Hrs.

    Dusk 16:30 hours. High in the valley Friday was +1.1 Deg C.

    As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have obscured skies, limited visibility, & snowing lightly. Lifts open 08:00.



FORECAST:

A weak upper trough will slowly migrate South, a weak ridge begins to build in a Southwest flow aloft. The freezing level will drop to surface later in the day. Mostly cloudy for today with some breaks this afternoon. Unsettled Sunday with a mix of sun and cloud with a Westerly flow aloft.
The FL should drop to just below surface. High pressure will bring sunny skies for Monday. Guesstimates: trace-2 cm by Sunday morning, Trace-1 cm by Monday morning.



    AVALANCHE ACTIVITY:

    Busy day with avalanche control Friday. Sz 2-3 on Whistler & Blackcomb.

    Xy while doing control work in Blackcomb Bowl. 4-5 meter crown line. Low Test

    Shot on regulator took out slabs as far as Low Test.

    Sz 2.5 Xe in Blackcomb Bowl.

    Xr just below Bushrat Shoulder.

    Sz 2 Whistler Cornice.

    Sz 2 Camel Back
