FORECAST:
A weak high for today with unsettled weather this am, a few sunny breaks by this afternoon. The flow aloft is Northeasterly today. The freezing level will remain below surface. A weak cold front will eventually pass through Thursday afternoon with periods of light precipitation into Friday morning. Still feeling like a draught compared to just North of us. Unsettled for Friday with another weak frontal band Saturday into Sunday. Models are still different looking into next week, but hoping for a more active weather pattern. Guesstimates: trace-1cm? by Thursday morning, 4-8 cm by Friday morning, 2-4 cm by Saturday morning.

Avalanche control yesterday produced some Sz 2-2.5 with Xh. Mostly Sz 0-1.

There is a lot of dedication and love involved in training an Avalanche Rescue Dog.
Thin cloud layer on Tuesday. Good temperatures for making snow!!!
