    As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have overcast skies, unlimited visibility and it is snowing very lightly.


A broad upper trough will send a weak front with periods of light precipitation in a Southwesterly flow aloft. The freezing level will remain below 1500 meters with a range of 1300-1000 over the next 2 days. For today mostly overcast and fairly dry. A more active frontal band for Sunday with light/moderate precipitation beginning around 02:00 hrs, with steady precipitation into Monday.
More of the same for next week with the chance of a sunny break on Monday.
Guesstimates: 5-10 cm by Sunday morning, 15-20 cm by Monday morning, 4-8 cm by Tuesday morning.

    Great way to learn more about avalanches.

    At Pig Alley there was 12 cm of new snow by 14:00 Hrs on Friday. Base 247 cm.
