    Nice to get some nice light.

    Awesome snow conditions on some aspects.

2180 meters    -5, Winds were 65-85 KPH ESE--Whistler Peak
1860 meters    -4, Winds were   5-10 KPH SW --Rendevous 
1835 meters    -3, Winds were 20-45 KPH E--Round House
1650 meters    -1, ?2 cm in 12 Hrs, 4 cm in 24 Hrs, Base 232 cm --Pig Alley
1560 meters .  -2, 2 cm in 12 Hrs, 4 cm in 24 Hrs, Base 164 cm--Catskinner
  660 meters     0, Valley Temp, Max temp Yesterday was +5.0, 0.6 mm of precip yesterday.
 No update on the Whistler Side.

    As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have obscured skies, limited visibility, and snowing 1 cm per hour.


FORECAST:

Low pressure to our West will bring periods of light precipitation in a Southwesterly flow aloft for today. A trough will push through this evening and the freezing level will hover in the 1200 meter range. Precipitation should ease by Monday morning with dry conditions for the afternoon with a chance of some sunny breaks. Another weak impulse on Monday night will bring periods of light precipitation into Tuesday morning. Weak upper level ridging for Tuesday afternoon will bring some unsettled weather with a mix of cloud and sun. Another front for Wednesday with moderate precipitation. Guesstimates: 15-20 cm by Monday morning, 5-10 cm by Tuesday morning, trace-1 cm by Wednesday morning.

    AVALANCHE ACTIVITY:

    DOA Sa Sz 1 Saturday afternoon.

    Close up of Fx Line.

    This old avalanche on Fissile was observed briefly on Monday Jan 20, 2020.

    Sluffing on steep North Aspects.

    Avalanche control on Blackcomb produced Sz 1-2 Xe Xc.

    Avalanche control on Whistler yesterday produced Sz 1-2 Xe, Sc.

    Evidence of an old natural cycle on Castle Towers, likely on Sunday or Monday. Jan 19-20.



    INFORMATION & OBSERVATIONS:

    Sa Sz 1 on DOA Saturday.

    Old activity on Upper Disease Ridge.

    There was some nice snow to be had on Saturday.

    Awesome powder skiing in Lakeside, it did get an avalanche closure in the afternoon. Warm Sun!!

    No excuses!!! Know where the permanent closures are!!!
