FORECAST:
A series of frontal bands are forecasted to bring more snow to our area in a Southwesterly flow aloft. For today a warm front will bring moderate to heavy precipitation with the freezing level hovering in the 1600 meter range, dropping to 1000 meters by tonight with the passage of a cold front.. Still the possibility of the FL going up to 1800 meters! Disappointing snowfall last night, way off the expected amounts, appears to have gone North again. Hopefully this front today will produce, should see a break between the warm and cold front.. A cool upper level trough will bring light snow to the area on Saturday. The FL will be at or below surface. More of the same for Sunday. Warmer pattern for Monday with periods of precipitation into Wednesday. Guesstimates: 20-45 cm by Saturday morning, 5-10 cm by Sunday morning, 8-12 cm by Monday morning.
