    As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have mostly overcast skies and unlimited visibility.


FORECAST:

A weak upper trough will push through today with the surface low off the Washington Coast, bringing unsettled weather. Low is further West than forecasted yesterday so precipitation amounts were off. Southerly flow aloft this morning shifting to South Westerly later this am. The freezing level will continue to drop into Saturday with strong outflow winds. Unsettled for Saturday as some of the lingering cloud from the low dissipates. Ridge strengthens Sunday and will likely continue into next Saturday. May see some cloud develop on Tuesday.  Stock up on sunscreen when your buying your toilet paper. Inverted temperatures for next week. Guesstimates: trace to 1 cm by Saturday morning. No snow in the forecast for at least one week. :(

    Old fracture line from Xh Wednesday morning.

    Sz 1.5 out of Screaming Blue Messiah (SBM) from Wednesday.

    Small result out of Lakeside from Wednesday.

    Bomb Hole on Whistler.

    Recent dry loose on Triplex.

    No new avalanche activity observed on Whistler yesterday.

   No new avalanches observed on Blackcomb yesterday.


    INFORMATION & OBSERVATIONS:

    Surface Hoar happy with cold temperatures and calm winds.

    Turns off Whistler Peak. Permanent Closure. Passes revoked for violation!!

    East Col Blackcomb Glacier.

    Avalanche Deflector Berm at the Peak Chair.

   How will the resort cope with COVID 19??

    Flurries yesterday afternoon.

    Overnight we received 2 cm of snow at Pig Alley. Base 258 cm.

    At Catskinner weather plot we received 2 cm, base 180 cm.
