The ridge continues to bring sunny weather in a Northerly flow aloft. Some cloud around this am with a weak upper level trough pushing through from the North with sunny skies by this afternoon. Sunrise is 07:20 Hrs this am with sunset at 19:20 Hrs tonight-12 Hrs of daylight-12 hours of nightlight. The freezing level will rise to 1500+ meters with daytime heating. Wednesday starts out sunny with some cloud pushing in for the afternoon. Unsettled weather for the remainder of the week with a mix of sun and cloud but dry. Possibly wet by Monday with an upper level low sending cloud our way Sunday. Guesstimates: No precipitation until Sunday night.

    Looks like an old cornice collapse, less than 1 week old.

    Yes, the last wind event messed up the backountry.

    If you stepped on the hard wind slab/sastrugi you could feel settlement.
