    Raining in the valley at 18:00 Hrs.

    Cloud line at around 700 meters. Dumping in the alpine, later in the day.

    As of 07:00 hrs this am we have overcast skies and limited visibility.


FORECAST:

A weakening upper level trough will bring unsettled weather for today in a Southwesterly flow aloft.
Intermittent light precipitation will continue this morning with a good chance of a brief drying out period this afternoon, with some breaks. The freezing level will hover in the 1100 meter level dropping to just above surface tonight. Another impulse will arrive tonight with steady light precipitation becoming moderate early Monday morning. Another brief drying trend at around noon on Monday before more very light precipitation slowly decreases sometime Monday night. A weak trough will bring mostly cloudy skies for Tuesday with some intermittent light precipitation. A similar day is expected Wednesday with drier unsettled weather for Thursday into the weekend.
Guesstimates: 12-18 mm by Monday morning, 5-10 mm by Tuesday morning, 1-4 mm by Wednesday morning.

   Older roof avalanche activity in Whistler.

    Limited visibility in the alpine. No new avalanche observations. Cornices are growing.




    INFORMATION & OBSERVATIONS:

    High at Nesters was + 4.7 Deg C. Height of snow was 38 cm.

    Precipitation Gauge had 11.5  mm by midnight Saturday at 660 meters.

    I wonder which cameras are operating. MTN was $251.67 on Feb 21st. $155.60 as of March 27th.
