    10:00 Hrs Monday morning. Snowing lightly 0 Deg C in the valley.

    Looks like winter in the valley.

    Nice breaks later in the am.

    Monday March 30, 2020. 12:00 Hrs. At 1835 meters -6.8 Deg C with a 20-50 KPH North wind.

2180 meters      -9, Winds were  5-10 KPH SSW--Whistler Peak
1860 meters      -8, Winds were    0-5 KPH S --Rendezvous 
1835 meters      -8, Winds were  5-15 KPH S--Round House
1650 meters      -7,     8 cm in 12 Hrs,     13 cm in 24 Hrs, Base 290 cm? --Pig Alley
1560 meters      -6, 9.3 mm in 12 Hrs, 15.3 mm in 24 Hrs, Base 204 cm--Catskinner
  660 meters      -1, Valley Temp, Max temp Yesterday was +3.8, 13.2 mm of precip yesterday.


    As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have overcast skies and limited visibility.



FORECAST:

A weak broad upper trough over BC will bring unsettled weather for today in a Northerly flow aloft.
The low over Vancouver Island will send some showers today but intermittent and sporadic. The freezing level will rise to around 1200 meters but quickly drop back to surface by tonight. More unsettled weather for Wednesday with a dry cold air mass bringing a mix of cloud and sun.  Thursday is looking unsettled with the chance of some showers. Cloudier Friday and Saturday.
Guesstimates: trace-2 mm by Wednesday morning, 0 mm by Thursday morning, 2-4 mm by Friday morning.

      Low moves to the East with dry cool unsettled weather in its wake on Wednesday.





      More unsettled weather Thursday with a bit of moisture added to the mix.

    Not great observing weather yesterday on Whistler. Some Sz 1 Na observed, went during storm.



    INFORMATION & OBSERVATIONS:

    You never know who you will meet on a bike ride in a snow squall.

    A slurry on the surface, 0 Deg C with 50 % water 50 % snow.

    Snow in the swamp.

    Unsettled weather at around noon.

    Depth of snow was 28 cm on the 29th, 22 cm on the 30th at 660 meters. High of +3.2 yesterday.
