FORECAST:
High pressure will dominate the weather today in a Northerly flow aloft. Sunny skies with warming temperatures as the day progresses. The freezing level will go much higher than the local peaks, with inversions for the next few days. A very weak trough slides down the coast on Thursday but we should only see some cloud spill over into the area. Still a slight chance we may see a flurry as the trough slides South. No real precipitation until possibly Sunday. Get out the sun screen, should be some awesome turns to be had today.

LOOKING FOR AVALANCHE GEAR--CHECK OUT THIS OFFER!!!
Arva Canada would like to help fund raise for the wayneflanavalancheblog and are offering a silent auction of the Evo 5, Spark 240 Probe, Access TS shovel and Reactor 18 Airbag with canister. Opening bid is $949 plus taxes.
Just need the essentials, $400.00 + Taxes for the above equipment.
The Evo 5 capitalizes on Arva’s 35 year expertise to fit in the palm of your hand. With a 50 M search strip width, group check, marking function, auto revert to transmit mode, the Evo 5 is jam packed with all of the essential functions needed to rescue an avalanche victim.
How does it keep you safe? When you turn the Evo 5 on, it stays on. The shut off involves pushing a button in and then sliding the arm into the off position. Then it requires you to push the flag marker to confirm this in the next 5 seconds or the transceiver will remain in send mode.
Several advantages1) The Arva Airbags are Dual Airbags, if one is ripped on a tree, the other side will help boost you to the surface
2) They are the lightest dual airbags on the market
3) Inflation, the bags can be inflated while lying on your back
4) High pressure is important
5) A lot of room, 18 L bag is 18 L of space, other bags might be 24 plus Litres to get this much space.
6) Each airbag is weight centred in the middle of the back, thus it feels light and balanced from side to side and up and down
7) Bag adjusts very well to different sizes
8) Dry testing is easy to do and takes seconds
9) Handle is stored and locked easily
10) Arva have been producing airbags for over 16 years now
11) If you were to try one, you would be convinced this is the bag for you
