      In the alpine as of 07:00 Hrs this am we have scattered mid mountain cloud and unlimited visibility.


A ridge of high pressure will bring mostly sunny skies for today in a Northerly flow aloft. Lingering cloud this am will likely remain in the mix , with the FL rising to around 2000-2200 m. Unsettled May like weather will bring a mix of sun and cloud for Tuesday as well. Pattern continues into Wednesday with a chance of some showers but short lived and still a mix of cloud and sun. Thursday the ridge may strengthen with more sun than cloud. Friday will be unsettled as well with a trough arriving Friday night bringing periods of light precip into Saturday. Ridge may try to rebuild for Saturday but thats a ways off, unsettled with a chance of some showers. The low moving into the area will likely bring a wet Sunday. Guesstimates: 0 mm by Tuesday am, 0 mm by Wednesday am, 0-trace mm by Thursday am, 0 mm by Friday am, 1-2 mm by Saturday am, 1-2 mm by  Sunday am, 2-4 mm by Monday am.

      Ridge will be influencing our zone but the low is just to the North with some cloud in the mix.

       More cloud than sun for Wednesday with the chance of some showers.

      Mostly sunny by Tuesday afternoon. High in the valley was +10.9 Deg C.

      Early Wednesday am. High overcast. 0 Deg C at 2240 m. 

     Wednesday afternoon. Dry warm overcast day. High in the valley was +17.9 Deg C.

      Early Thursday am. +4 Deg C at 2180 m. 

      Thursday afternoon. Rain held off most of the day, front arrived at around 16:30 Hrs.

     Friday am 09:00 Hrs. Fresh snow below tree line. Unsettled weather. -6 at 2240 m.

      Very unsettled over the Tantalus Range Friday afternoon.

      Overcast early Saturday am. -7 Deg C at 2180 m. Some showers.

     Nice to have a sunny Mothers Day, high Sunday in the valley was +15.7 Deg C.

      Hard to go golfing without interacting with the bears.
