Drove the Duffy on the weekend, first real winter driving experience, luckily I had new winter tires on.
On the way to Canmore, and there were certainly many different snow zones on the trip.



Its always awesome when you drive into the steep terrain, I wonder how many people really know what the potential for avalanches is above them  when driving the highway?

At 2260 meters this morning the temperature was - 9 as of 06:00 Hrs.  Cold nights with some fresh snow on firn!! Not getting much snow but the mountains have great temps for making snow.

The trough that went through our area on the weekend created havoc in Northern California, its not  fair when the snow goes south: 2 Feet
