First Light Tuesday Morning.

Amazing sunrise yesterday morning, as the front moved through.

Incredible cloud formations through out the day.

Rick Mercer spotted on Blackcomb, Jumped into an air bag. Good PR for Momentum Camps.

Not much of a sunset yesterday but there were some great looking lenticulars at days end.

The frontal band moved through quickly last night bringing clear skies as the ridge dominates the weather pattern.  The passage of the trough eroded the temperature inversion early this morning. We will be back into a low level off shore flow by Wednesday evening. The strong upper level ridge will prevail from today into the weekend, with sunny skies and rising freezing levels. Models are still not in agreement with the possible trough of low pressure approaching for early next week. I am feeling a change in the pattern is coming, in about 1 week, just in time for the Peak to Valley Race!!

Front from this afternoon should pass by tomorrow afternoon.

Closer view front on the Coast of Vancouver Island.

Major Trough of Low Pressure is what we need to move this high too the South. Some push from the massive low in Russia would be nice. The European Model is predicting 500 hap heights on Feb 1St.

Very dark to the North in the late afternoon January 21St. Interesting winter garb!! Thailand?

Contrail from a King Air plane yesterday morning.

The colours just would not stop in the am.

Feather Clouds at the end of the day.
