Same time line with some juicier clouds over our area.

In the valley same time frame, +6. Normal is +3 with a minimum temperature  of -4.

Spotted a lonely skunk cabbage sprout yesterday, yes its a skunk cabbage!!

Just before sunset yesterday. Today we will get 10 hours of day light. 07:25-17:27.

As of 07:00 Hours we have broken cloud and unlimited visibility. 5 cm of fresh snow above 1900 m.

Moist lower level cloud should dissipate by this afternoon.

For the forecast,  some lingering cloud in the wake of the weak front moving East of our area in a Westerly flow will bring unsettled conditions to the area this morning with less cloud by this afternoon. There is still the chance of some isolated drizzle this morning in the valley below the mid mountain moist stratus cloud layer, with a freezing level around 1800 meters. The strong upper ridge building into our zone today will keep pushing the cloud out of the area bringing sunny weather for Sunday with cooler temperatures in a Northwest flow. FL should drop to 1200 meters by Sunday evening into Monday afternoon before climbing back up to 1900 meters. This pattern will persist until Wednesday when a weak frontal system moves into the area for Thursday, with unsettled weather. More on that as we get closer. Enjoy the sunshine!!

Satellite image from 10:30 Friday Morning.

   Big picture from yesterday morning.

Satellite image from this morning. Still some high cloud and a lower level stratus layer.

High pressure aloft begins to push the low to the North.

Monday the high is pushing hard on the low, may see some cloud. Northerly Flow.
