    Wednesday May 6, 2015--Clouds clinging to the mountains in the am.

    Lots of blue, another start to an awesome day.

    Clouds did lift eventually but were certainly hanging around the peaks.

    Convective development as the day progressed.

    Just before sunset last night.


Weather Observations for May 7, 2015: taken at 06:00 Hours.

2180 meters     -2, Winds were 5-10 KPH from the W
1835 meters     -1, Winds were 0-5 KPH from the E
1650 meters     -1, No new snow, Base 169 cm, relative humidity is 80%
  660 meters      0, Valley Temp, Max Temp Yesterday was +15.8. 

    As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have clear skies and unlimited visibility. Some high cirrus in the area.


For the forecast, the upper level ridge just off shore will give us warm sunny conditions into Sunday. An upper trough may reach the area by Sunday with some cloud into Monday but it may move South so more on that later this weekend. Freezing levels will be above the local peaks. Enjoy the weather.

    Clouds were at and below 2000 meters yesterday morning.

    Above the Peaks by the afternoon.

    Looking SW yesterday morning.

    Will the bike park expand into the Creekside???
