For the forecast, a weak trough moving through the area for today in a Westerly flow aloft will bring unsettled conditions. We can expect mostly cloudy skies this morning with the slight chance of some thunder and lightning, but that should stay closer to the interior of Southern BC. As the day progresses we should get more sunny breaks as the trough moves East. The Westerly flow will send some marine air our way Tuesday as well, with some cloud but mostly sunny conditions. The ridge strengthens Wednesday for warm sunny conditions into the weekend. Thursday and Friday have the potential to be the hottest days of July. Enjoy some nice summer weather!!

A weak trough will pass through the area today with some cloud but dry.

Lingering cloud for Tuesday with the ridge building to the South.

High pressure to the South will dominate the weather pattern into the weekend.

Ridge of high pressure with warm temperatures for Friday July 29, 2016.

May be in for a change on Sunday, but that is a ways off!!
