As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have overcast skies, unlimited visibility, & raining lightly.
FORECAST:
An upper trough along the coast will slowly push inland in a moist Southerly flow. We can expect light precipitation with the freezing level dropping from 2000 meters to 1500 meters by tonight. The models are inconsistent and confidence is low as far as the medium range and long range forecast.
Trend looks like more of a Westerly flow tomorrow with overcast skies, light precipitation and the FL slowly descending to 1000 meters by Saturday night. Cooler on Sunday with a more active frontal band. Stay tuned.
Guesstimates: 5-10 mm of rain changing to 4-8 cm by Saturday morning, 6-8 cm of snow above valley floor by Sunday morning, 10-20 cm of snow by Monday morning.
