    Locally, AC produced a few Sz 1-1.5 with Xe Sc ssl's, windslabs. 20-60 cm crowns. Ltd control.


    YESTERDAY:

    Sunday morning, at 08:00 Hrs at 1835 meters it was -20 with 25-40 KPH winds out of the NNE.

    Peak chair closed, at 10:00 Hrs, -23 with 60-95 KPH winds out of the NW. -42 wind chill factor

    At 2240 meters at 10:00 Hrs -23 Deg C with a NE wind 50-70 KPH . Lift was closed.


    Unsettled weather on Sunday. Blowing snow on the lake.

    Looking cold up there. At 15:00 hrs it was -21 Deg C at 2240 meters.

Wind Chill Today: -21 with a 50 KPH wind brings the wind chill too -37 at 2180 meters. Dress warm if venturing into the alpine.

    As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have clear skies and unlimited visibility.

FORECAST:

Ridge of high pressure will bring cold clear weather to the area today in a Northerly flow aloft.
Some cloud will spill into the area on Tuesday with unsettled cold weather. The low off the coast will bring mostly cloudy skies for Wednesday morning, becoming unsettled by Wednesday afternoon. More sun for Thursday morning before clouds begin to form in the afternoon. Frontal bands are expected to return for Friday into Saturday with more snow and seasonable temperatures.
Guesstimates: No significant snowfall until Friday.

    Sunday morning, the temperature in the valley at 08:00 Hrs was -9 with NE winds . Wind Chill -17

    At 10:30 unsettled with -19 at 1835 meters with a wind out of the NNW at 10-35 KPH.

    Nice conditions in the valley. -7 at 14:00 Hrs.

    The wind has affected the snow.

Skied Cassiope today. Very reactive in the trees around 1200m. The latest 20-30cm on every convex feature would slide at the slightest touch. Snow was slightly better bonded to the crust up around 1800m but not much.
