    AVALANCHE ACTIVITY:

    Sz 1's dry loose yesterday on steep alp terrain.

    Slough off Horstman peak.

   Sz 1  Sc T Bar chute.

    Krackatoa, Sc Sz 1.

    Point release in Bony Basin later in the day. Wet loose.


    YESTERDAY:

    Frozen isothermal snow at the bottom of the montain yesterday morning.

    Sparkling cord mid mountain.

    Powder at the top.

    Unsettled yesterday with cumulus cloud development.

    Mostly cloudy mid day. Some dry loose Na Sz 1's.

     Clouds became darker in the afternoon.

    Bluebird later in the day.

    A few clouds to the North just before sunset.

    As of 07:00 hrs this am we have high scattered cloud and unlimited visibility.



FORECAST:

A weak upper ridge will bring mostly sunny weather this am before some marine cloud development this afternoon in a Northwest flow aloft. There is a chance of some rain showers below 1600 meters today with the FL reaching 1800 meters by this afternoon. A warm front is forecasted for Friday morning with the FL rising to 1600 meters than dropping to 1200 meters with the passing of the trailing cold front. Lingering cloud will bring some flurries Saturday morning with unsettled weather by Saturday afternoon. Sunday is looking like a nice day as a strong ridge of high pressure builds into early next week.
Guesstimates: trace-1 mm of rain in the valley today, 10-15 cm by Saturday morning, depending on the track of the cold front, 4-6 cm by Sunday morning, 0 cm Monday-Wednesday.

    High pressure this morning, but low will send cloud later today.

    Ridge will bring mostly sunny skies to the area this am.

    Some cloud development later today.

    North facing slopes were skiing well.

Cornice drop between Cayoosh and Cayoosh S2 (according to google) closer to Cayoosh.

Significant cornices all the way around. Multilayer from many storms. Very much apparent our storms have been out of the South west in recent weeks.
